Are you all as excited about October as we are? Between the Cathedral Window QAL, the Trick-or-Treat QAL, Sewing Summit, Quilt Market and Quilt Festival, we’ve already been hopping around the office in a constant giddy state. But now we’re doing cartwheels too;).
We are excited to be involved in the very first Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores Girls Night Out Blogger Get Together! The event was organized by Jessica of Me Sew Crazy and will take place on Friday, October 12th out in Salt Lake City, UT. It was planned to coincide with the oh-so-fabulous Sewing Summit, which takes place over that weekend.
Our industry happens to have a tremendous online presence, powered by an enormous collection of extraordinarily talented designers, crafters, sewers, writers, and educators, sharing their every day passions with the world through their blogs. As Jessica said so eloquently, “Blogging gives us a platform to share our common interests, our daily life, our goals and aspirations, and helps us connect with others in a powerful way. We form meaningful friendships with people through the written word. And when the opportunity arises for us to meet up, we jump at the chance to rejoice and celebrate those friendships.” (see her announcement post here)
We’re proud a sponsor and honored to be in such good company: Jo-Ann Fabric & Craft Stores, Michel Miller Fabrics, Coats & Clark, Fat Quarter Shop, & The Ribbon Retreat.
