Eating Al Fresco

No one will deny that it is HOT HOT HOT out there! If you live in the US, chances are you’ve been experiencing a bit of a heat wave this week. Heck, I live in Maine and we’ve even been up in the low 90s. Even so, there is something a little enchanting about eating outside — either for that early morning cup of coffee before the heat has settled in, or right around sunset when the colors are just right and the humidity starts to drop.

If you’re looking to create (or spruce up) a fab little outdoor dining area, this post is a great place to start! The fabulous Madame Samm of Sew We Quilt has created a tutorial for a super cute French Country Café Curtain. The combo of gingham and burlap will have you in the mood for eating al fresco in no time at all!
