When I think of a handmade holiday, I generally think of the gift itself, but it’s good to take a look at the packaging too! Will you buy wrapping paper and ribbon? Create something yourself? Put it in a bag with some tissue paper? I’ve seen so many wonderful suggestions for creative packaging and have a whole new appreciation for the beauty of the presentation. Imagine my delight, then, in receiving two fabulous projects from two very talented designers that focus on just that — creative presentation.
Vanessa Lynch of Punkin Patterns created these stunning Gift Bag Totes, all three of which were proudly displayed at our Fall Quilt Market booth. I just adore the fabrics she chose and couldn’t imagine a better way to present a gift to a loved on (it’s really a gift in itself!)

The Sewing Loft‘s Heather Valentine created these super cute little gift card holders. She used our fusible fleece in the construction. If you’d like to make one just like hers, you’ll want to take a peek at her scrappy fabric tutorial using our 906F Fusible Sheerweight.
