I know what you’re thinking… “Isn’t is a little early for Halloween? The kids are just back in school and I’m still making teacher gifts.” I know, I know;). But sometimes it’s fun to think ahead, particularly when that thinking ahead involves creating a brand new lap quilt, mantle runner or wall hanging, block by block, that will complete your Halloween décor just in time for the spookiest of nights. Designer Alexandra Henry has put together a super scary quilt-along featuring witches, ghosts, owls, pumpkins, brooms and more! The Trick-or-Treat Quilt-Along has 13 possible blocks to choose from, with at least two new blocks going up every week. You’ll have a chance to practice your piecing, machine and hand applique skills.
